Fearless

Recently, several fears have resurfaced in my thoughts and being bipolar, they are magnified. I had to pray about it. I remembered that a friend of mine gave me a book called “Fearless” and I searched for it in my bookshelf. So I have been reading the book and I’m almost done. I can tell you that my faith has increased. I totally recommend this book for people who has been plague with fear and anxiety. Oh well, that means almost everyone! :) ¬†max-lucado-fearless

“They’re talking layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East, turnovers at headquarters, downturns in the housing market, and upswings in global warning. The plague of our day, terrorism, begins with the word terror. Fear, it seems, has taken a hundred -year lease on the building next door and set up shop. Over sized and rude, fear herds us into prison and slams the doors. Would’t it be great to walk out?¬†Imagine your life, wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over our heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity or doubt, what ion t would remain? Envision the day when you can trust more and fear less.” Summary by Max Lucado. “
